If the title post didn't give it away already, I want to challenge myself to a 26 day shopping ban starting right. Now. I got the idea from Helga and immediately thought to myself "hmmm I could do that!" In fact, I should do that. I was cleaning my room the other day and was honestly disgusted by the amount of stuff I've acquired throughout the last couple of years. It may not seem like a lot but in comparison to my tiny apartment and my tiny room, things are really starting to pile up. And breaking it down to the basics, I probably only use or wear 40% of it. Well enough is enough, and with 26 days left until my planned summer road trip, its the perfect time to save some cash and start downsizing to the bare essentials. I think the older I get, the more I internalize that less is more and remembering cost-per-wear/use ratio when it comes to buying.
Will keep you updated!

I am very glad that you are aging very gracefully, literally and figuratively speaking, i hope im sharing the same excitement 😋
Truly you become more aware of yourself and i believe that there is a lot more to find out.
Though i may be looking forward on the things i could discover about myself, that doesnt mean i would forget all the things i m previously enthusiastic about.
you know that i ve always loved cooking so id see to it that i'd cook every weekend for my Titas, so far this were some of the dishes i cooked for them.
my favorite part is actually going to the market, the next time ill visit the market i'll share with you the vast choices of spices and the premium cuts of meats. (nevermind the seafood)
Hopefully soon I could cook for you again. so youd sing " yummy yummy yummy ive got love from my tummy" hahaha
all the love,

Birthday Resolutions (?)
Every year I get more and more excited about my birthday! I like to think of it as my New Year event for the year except its only for moi and to me that makes the occasion so much better! But for real, birthdays are a wonderful thing. I love the idea of celebrating and welcoming another year of life. To me, getting older means having more experiences under your belt and becoming more self aware. And as corny as it sounds, the older I get I can't help but feel more grateful about my life and super hopeful for the future.
All that optimism aside, I still can't ignore the fact that my youth won't in fact be with me forever. And as vain as it sounds I can't deny the physical after effects of old age. And I know I know, I'm only 23 and I shouldn't go over board on the anti wrinkle and eye creams. But as a present to future 40 year old me, I would like to start adapting some better habits for myself such as:
- Sleep earlier
- Wake up earlier
- Drink more water
- Take vitamins
- Maintain a savings account
Wish me luck!
